Koneosapalvelu to become the first certified service partner of Bosch Rexroth
Koneosapalvelu Oy and Bosch Rexroth Oy have signed a Certified Excellence partnership agreement.
Koneosapalvelu Oy’s hydraulic service has been certified by the principal, and with the agreement, Koneosapalvelu Oy became the first hydraulic service in Finland to meet the requirements of Bosch Rexroth’s Service Partner – Repair Center concept. For customers, this means high-quality, expert maintenance of hydraulic pumps and motors that meets the manufacturer’s standards.
Koneosapalvelu Oy’s hydraulic service at the forefront of development
Koneosapalvelu Oy has developed the framework and operations of hydraulic maintenance with determined work and extensive investments. Vilppula’s premises were expanded in 2020. In connection with the expansion, completely new facilities were set up for hydraulic service and storage. In addition, the maintenance equipment, special tools and the test drive unit were updated. In addition to investments, more employees have been hired for hydraulic repair shop, and efforts have been made in ERP by developing a quality system. Following an audit by Bosch Rexroth, the companies signed a Service Partner – Repair Center agreement for the maintenance of mobile hydraulics under Bosch Rexroth’s new international Certified Excellence program in January 2021.
Hannu Soimasuo, CEO of Koneosapalvelu Oy, says that “the framework is now in order and enables carrying out even better maintenance work. The introduction of the company’s own quality system helps with systematic work, and the new concept of the principal brings support from the big manufacturer to the operation. As a service partner of Bosch Rexroth, we make use, e.g., of fast delivery of spare parts, product support, and databases and training provided by the manufacturer. With their help, we are able to offer our customers hydraulic components adjusted to the factory settings and repaired using the right working methods and original spare parts – efficiently and on time.”
The highlight of hydraulic maintenance is the new Rexroth test bench
The contemporary 400 m² facilities for Vilppula’s hydraulic service have been designed for maintenance from the beginning. Ossi Nieminen, Sales Manager of Koneosapalvelu Oy, says that “the workshop’s workstations are equipped for the needs of demanding maintenance work. Moreover, we have separate work areas for component disassembly, assembly and test run. Eight hydraulic installers and a foreman work in maintenance. In addition, we also have hydraulic design and technical sales.
Our maintenance equipment includes the new Rexroth SSTB-135 test bench, which Koneosapalvelu Oy was the first to acquire in the Nordic countries”. It is a 2-circuit test bench with a maximum pressure of more than 500 bar. The test bench is connected to the Bosch Rexroth database via the Cadasys system, which ensures the correct, individual test programs and adjustment values for each Rexroth product to be tested. The test bench can be used to test hydraulic pumps and motors of all the most common brands.
