VAHVA KC-series grapples for excavators

Vahva grapples are used e.g. for handling wood, clearing plots, demolition, and pipeline projects. The usability and durability of Vahva grapples are top class thanks to the structural solutions and high-quality manufacturing technology of the products.

• In the spike models (model marking: E), the tips close at the same level. This feature was designed particularly at the request of our clients who use excavators: the spikes pick up the material smoothly from the ground, without accumulating any excess soil. This feature also reduces the wear and tear of the tips.
• The spikes of the E models have been manufactured from HARDOX 400 wear- and abrasion-resistant steel.
• From size class 36 upwards HD jaws as standard, with the side plates and piercing tip thicker than in the basic model. There is also an additional bar between the side plates for reinforcing the structure.
• Quality quick coupling integrated into the frame, no secondary welding.
• A Lifting hook welded to the frame as standard equipment.

Vahva grapples are designed and manufactured at the very modern factory of Outokummun Metalli Oy in Finland. The high quality level is demonstrated by, for example, high-strength steel as material, robotic welding, machined peg lines, bronze bearings and powder coating.
